To celebrate the release of 1.32, we have put Assignments on sale for 1.99 for a limited time. 1.32 brings numerous bug fixes and stability enhancements to the program, hopefully addressing a lot of the complaints raised in the comments.

It has been a while since we have updated you with any definitive time frames related to software updates, and this is intentional. We have had some setbacks at Pinwheel, but now that we have hired a new team member we are back into the swing of things and we hope you will (soon) see that development is progressing at a reasonably fast pace. We have posted an update to Assignments to Apple, and although we will not say that it will be approved soon, because we have already been through two rejections over insignificant criteria, we will say that we doubt there will be a holdup this time as we have fixed any problem Apple could possibly find with the program.
Apple seems to have brushed our applications aside, which is fine, but it is to the detriment of our users as these updates bring huge bug fixes. I suppose they are too busy worrying about whether to approve or reject applications for bands like Nine Inch Nails, but that is neither here nor there.
Assignments 2.0
Assignments 2.0 is progressing steadily. We are set for a June/July release, and have planned some huge updates for the application. For one, we have redone the user interface, and we believe you will find that we have sacrificed nothing in the way of usability.
We are still looking for beta testers. I tried contacting a few of our beta testers over the weekend regarding this latest update and didn't receive any responses, so if you are out there and are thinking about contacting us, please do as we need beta testers! Assignments 2.0 will be in beta soon, and we will need your help testing it.
That's all for now, I will update you again soon as we plan to release another update to Assignments before the big push to 2.0.

Before we begin discussing new software, let me welcome our new member, Bill P., to the development team! Bill is a Cocoa/Obj-C programmer with many years of previous experience. He has already begun to work on the updates for Assignments and ANT, in preparation for the 3.0 iPhone software update. Bill has some great ideas for the future of both projects, so stay tuned as he updates you himself on the status of these projects. If you'd like to speak to Bill, his username is bill on our forums. His email address is bill@pinwheeldevinc.com. I'm sure he'd love to hear from you.

I've received a couple of support requests regarding our giveaway, but (and I just realized this), our support page doesn't include a text field for your email address. Thus, I have no way to follow up with anyone who has emailed me regarding the giveaway. Therefore, if you have registered on our forums and would like a free copy of an application, please email me directly at ben@pinwheeldevinc.com. When you email me, please include your forum user name and the email address you used to register.
Secondly, we are having some problems with the forums. A few of the modifications that we have made are causing problems, and without going into specifics, the forums are buggy and you may run into problems if you use them extensively. Simple processes such as registration, posting, and replying should be unaffected by these bugs, so don't feel as though you can't use the forums at all. We look forward to seeing your posts, and hearing your feedback! Please stick by us as we resolve these issues.

I hadn't realized until today that www.pinwheeldevinc.com wasn't loading, as I'm used to just typing in the domain name (with no www). I've fixed the problem, and you should be able to access the site (regardless of whether there is a www).
